EN// Far from being just a socio-political conflict, war is about people. Six Ukrainian female artists, displaced by the war, exhibit their works of art, the result of the artistic residency: “Art is urgent”. Their artworks feature these people’s portraits. Faces that disfigure with pain, faces that are colored with hope, and faces that turn their backs on this reality that no one should experience.
DE// Krieg ist weit davon entfernt, nur ein gesellschaftspolitischer Konflikt zu sein, es geht um Menschen. Sechs kriegsvertriebene ukrainische Künstlerinnen stellen ihre Kunstwerke aus, die das Ergebnis des Künstleraufenthalts „Art is Urgent“ sind. Ihre Kunstwerke zeigen die Porträts dieser Menschen. Gesichter, die vor Schmerz entstellt sind, Gesichter, die von Hoffnung gefärbt sind, und Gesichter, die dieser Realität, die niemand erleben sollte, den Rücken kehren.
ES// Lejos de ser sólo un conflicto sociopolítico, la guerra es sobre la gente. Seis artistas ucranianas, desplazadas por la guerra, exponen sus obras de arte, resultado de la residencia artística: „Art is Urgent“ . Sus obras muestran los retratos de estas personas. Rostros que se desfiguran con el dolor, rostros que se colorean con la esperanza y rostros que dan la espalda a esta realidad que nadie debería vivir.
