“An dem das Wort von der Flüchtigkeit Fleisch ward” (Where the word volatile became flesh) Performance, decoloniality, anti-capitalism, and intersectional feminism led by Sandra Dinnendahl López
Intro
This project aims to assemble a group of artists from Latin America and the Mediterranean Levant, based in Berlin, for an in-depth exploration and discourse on themes like decoloniality and anti-capitalism alongside intersectional feminism. It will particularly emphasize their interplay with performance art and the significance of collectivity.
Course Content
This workshop is for artists, performers, dancers, cultural practitioners, and scholars interested in the intersections of performance art, collectivity, decoloniality, anti-capitalism, and intersectional feminism.
Designed for exchanging ideas and artistic works, this workshop allows each participant to exhibit their past creations and ongoing creative endeavors within the collective. The foreseen outcome will be an evening of performances accessible to the broader public, showcasing works that may be either individual or collaborative. Nonetheless, the spirit of inclusion and cooperative engagement in the creative journey among the participants will be actively fostered.

Course Structure
April 26 (Karne Kunst, 6-9 PM): Kickoff of the series with an introduction, insights into cultural practice and projects in Paraguay, participant introductions, and collaborative planning for the upcoming sessions.
April 27 (Karne Kunst, 6-9 PM): Spatial kinetic exercises followed by artist mentoring sessions designed to deepen artistic practice and critique.
April 28 (Public spaces, 6-9 PM): Exploratory outgoing into public spaces for a communal reading-aloud session, complemented by artist mentoring sessions.
April 29 (Karne Kunst, 6-9 PM): Auditory verbal exercises, further artist mentoring sessions, and preparations for the performance night.
April 30: Evening of open performances, marking the culmination of the series.

About Sandra Dinnendahl López
Visual artist, researcher, and cultural practitioner from Asunción, Paraguay. She obtained a B.A. in Visual Arts and Creative Writing from Oberlin College in 2010. In 2015, she completed her Masters in Arts at the Universität der Künste Berlin. Since 2016, she has been working in her home country. She has initiated various projects and platforms with local and regional artists, including Temporal Festival de Arte, Festival Confluencias de Arte, Red Gris, Proyecto Enajenar / En Casa Ajena, Las Aguadas Residencia de Arte, and Residencia Flotante: La deíxis del río. In 2019, she received the International Research Fellowship for the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Seoul (Seoul, South Korea). The following year, she served as a representative for Paraguay for the Continuo Latidoamericano de Performance 2020. In 2021, she was selected as a representative for Visual Arts at the Consejo Nacional de Cultura de Paraguay (CONCULTURA). In 2022, she was part of the curatorial teams of JustMad (Spain) and Equinox Feria de Arte (Argentina). The same year, she received the Francis Greenburger Fellowship for Mitigating Ethnic and Religious Conflict at the Art Omi Artist Residence (NY, USA). In 2023 she participated in FlussLab Onsite: Delta Residence (Tigre, Argentina) and ArteCo (Corrientes, Argentina).
Sandra’s primary art genres are installation, object-making, performance, video, and drawing. Her work focuses on collective identities, marginality, feminism, histories of conflict, mediation of memory, and institutional critique.

An dem das Wort von der Flüchtigkeit Fleisch ward: Serie de encuentros sobre performance, colectividad, decolonialidad, anticapitalismo y feminismo interseccional.

Propuesta
La propuesta de esta serie de encuentros es trabajar con un grupo de artistas de Latinoamérica y del Levante mediterráneo radicadxs en Berlin conceptos en torno a la decolonialidad, el anticapitalismo y el feminismo interseccional en relación al performance y la colectividad. Estos encuentros están destinados a artistas, intérpretes, bailarines, profesionales culturales y académicxs interesadxs en las intersecciones del performance, la colectividad, la descolonialidad, el anticapitalismo y el feminismo interseccional.
Este espacio ofrece una clínica de ideas y obras en la que cada participante tendrá la oportunidad de compartir trabajos anteriores y procesos abiertos al colectivo. Los encuentros culminarán con una noche final de performance abierta al público general.
Las obras para la noche de performance pueden ser individuales, aunque preferentemente involucrarán a otrxs miembrxs de la serie de encuentros en sus procesos.

Sobre Sandra Dinnendahl López:
Artista, investigadora y gestora cultural de Asunción. En el 2010 obtuvo su licenciatura en Artes Visuales y en Escritura Creativa de Oberlin College (EEUU). En el 2015 obtuvo su maestría en Arte en Contexto de la Universidad de Artes de Berlín (Alemania). Desde el 2016 se ha instalado nuevamente en Paraguay, donde ha iniciado varios proyectos y plataformas culturales en colaboración con artistas locales y regionales, incluyendo: Temporal Festival de Arte, Festival Confluencias de Arte, Proyecto Enajenar / En Casa Ajena, Red Gris, Las Aguadas Residencia de Arte y la Residencia flotante: La deíxis del río. En el 2019 fue recipiente de la beca “International Research Fellowship” del National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Seoul (Seúl, Corea del Sur). En el 2020 fue representante de Paraguay para el Continuo Latidoamericano de Performance: Cartografías en contexto. En el 2021 fue seleccionada como consejera del área de artes visuales para el Consejo Nacional de Cultura de Paraguay (CONCULTURA). En el 2022 formó parte del equipo curatorial de JustMad (España) y de Equinox Feria de Arte (Argentina) y recibió el Francis Greenburger Fellowship for Mitigating Ethnic and Religious Conflict para la residencia de arte de Art Omi (NY, EEUU). En el 2023 participó de la residencia FlussLab Onsite:Delta (Tigre, Argentina) y de ArteCo (Corrientes, Argentina).
Su trabajo centra la instalación, el performance, el objeto-arte, video-arte y dibujo. Sus principales intereses temáticos incluyen la mediación de discursos críticos sobre memoria, identidades colectivas, historias de conflicto, formas de alteridad y tensiones sociopolíticas entre comunidades.
