Karne Kunst is proud to present Manifiesto of Light, a multidisciplinary exhibition bringing together four international women artists—Kippi Maula (Finland/Germany), Lucía Alfaro Valencia (Peru/Germany), Kseniya Apresian (Russia/Germany), and Ángela Amarilla (Argentina/Germany)—curated by Bianca Galanzino.
Through sculpture, photography, performance, and installation, these artists employ light as both medium and metaphor. Light here is never neutral—it reveals, distorts, and transforms, inviting viewers to reflect on urgent social, political, and existential themes.
From illuminated wall sculptures confronting the silences around women’s healthcare, to a participatory performance exploring our photosensitivity, to a photographic meditation on European unity, and an immersive installation where visitors confront their fears to meet their “most beautiful light,” Manifiesto of Light creates a luminous space for dialogue and transformation.

- Sunday, August 24, 14:00 – ART RIOT JAM with Kirsti Maula and Bianca Galanzino
- Friday, August 29, 18:00 – Curator-led tour of the exhibition
- Monday, September 1, 18:00–19:30 – Writing workshop From Demons to Dreams with Ángela Amarilla
- Wednesday, September 3 – Finissage and round table with the artists and curator
