Celestia. Berlin Art Exhibition at The Pocket Gallery
Celestia. A Site-Specific Installation by Mamita Chicha in the Heart of Berlin
What if paradise wasn’t somewhere far away, but right here—in the middle of Berlin, between the drizzle, the neon, and the grey?
Celestia is a one-square-meter sanctuary created by Berlin-based artist Mamita Chicha. This site-specific installation transforms The Pocket Gallery into a hand-painted sky filled with floating clouds, quiet affirmations, and a mirror that listens more than it reflects.
The work invites visitors to pause, to step into the storm rather than run from it, and to discover the light they carry inside. It’s an intimate space where the celestial isn’t grand or distant—it’s tender, imperfect, and deeply personal.
In Celestia, the artist reimagines the Berlin sky as a place of emotional healing. Long winters, persistent drizzle, and moments of feeling lost become part of a visual and emotional landscape that ultimately offers clarity, hope, and self-recognition.
Celestia is not about escaping reality—it’s about seeing yourself clearly within it.
